The Conejo Valley Little League U-8 Blue baseball team went undefeated (4-0) and secured first place at the Moorpark Summer Classic tournament, which took place around Father’s Day.
Members of the Play Conejo board, along with representatives for the Conejo Recreation and Park District and Conejo Valley Little League, gathered last weekend to commemorate the new-look playground at Fiore Playfield, a baseball-centric park near the 23 Freeway and Avenida de Los Arboles.
